Continuing North, my next stop will be Tennant Creek, a drive of about 508 kilometres using the Stuart Highway (Highway 87).

It was either this route (to be able to head across to the East Coast, or return the same way as I had come). I fancied a change of scenery.

The caravan park, situated on the Stuart Highway, appears from their website photographs to be well laid out with all the facilities one could wish for. An added bonus is there is a discount for Seniors! Additionally there is a Campers kitchen, Shaded Salt Pool, Coin Operated laundry, Camp Fire area, and finally it is "Pet friendly" The list of facilities includes:
